The eLearning SIG meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:00PM. Many of the meetings are held at Lodestone Digital, located near I-77 and Tyvola Road, and sometimes include web conferencing so you can attend the meeting from home!

In the best market, ASTD is a wonderful place to meet new people as well as be renewed by presentations about topics that matter to us. So what happens when our economic forecasts seem to be getting bleaker, the networking opportunities seem smaller, and more of us are unemployed? While the first statement is still true, there are some new items that become part of the conversation.

• How can we best interact with employed ASTD members without them feeling bombarded with requests?
• How do we support each other when we may be applying for the same job?
• What are some of the rules regarding unemployment benefits?
• How do we go about accessing our current skills and figuring out what type of jobs suit us best?
• Can some of our needs be better addressed by our ASTD chapter?
