The Charlotte Chapter sends out a survey annually to gauge the interests of our members and feedback for programs, workshops and the general running of the chapter.  We, like any organization, want to stay in contact with our membership and provide meaningful benefits and programs to grow and improve our chapter. 

35% of the total membership completed the survey.  Based on monthly attendance, it is estimated that 68% of those actively attending meetings participated in the survey.  Here is a summary of the survey highlights:

Why do folks join and why do they continue membership?  Top two answers were:

1. Networking Opportunities
2. Skill Development/Training Trends

Learning more about training and gathering ideas also received high scores for why people continue their membership. 

Regular monthly meetings and chapter workshops scored the highest for the value of member benefits and services.

Much of the survey provided an opportunity to free form suggestions on what would add value to membership, program interests and recommendations. The survey will be used to plan 2010 programs and to set goals for the coming year.
